Najib Hosts Luncheon In Honour Of Laos PM

PUTRAJAYA–Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak Tuesday hosted an official luncheon at Seri Perdana here in honour of visiting Laos Prime Minister Dr Thongloun Sisoulith and his delegation.
Dr Thongloun, who is on his maiden visit to Malaysia, was greeted by Najib upon arrival at the Prime Minister’s official residence.
International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed, Deputy Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Reezal Merican Naina Merican and Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa also attended the luncheon. Also present was Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Lee Chee Leong, who is the Minister-in-Attendance.
The guests were feted to lunch featuring a local menu, such as ‘pasembor’ Penang, ‘ayam percik’, cuttlefish curry and mutton ‘kurma’.
The guests were entertained with performances by a Permata Seni children’s choir.
Dr Thongloun arrived earlier today on his first official visit to Malaysia since assuming office in April 2016.
