Kota Kinabalu: The city of Portland in Oregon, USA and Kota Kinabalu are set to be sister cities by September 2015 if all goes according to plan, making the relation the first between cities in Malaysia and the United States.

Tawau: Felda Global Ventures Holdings Berhad (FGV) via its subsidiary Felda Palm Industries Sdn Bhd (FPI) continues to spearhead best practices in sustainability with the launch of its Biogas Power Plant worth RM14 million at its palm oil mill in Felda Umas, here, Tuesday.
The plant is the fourth biogas plant that will have the capacity to supply clean electricity from renewable sources.
