Federal govt allocates RM430 mln to State Consolidated Fund

PUTRAJAYA: The Federal Government will allocate RM430 million to the State Consolidated Fund for 2015, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.

Najib, who is also Finance Minister, said of the amount, RM130 million will be to help the states facing deficits in their operating accounts.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak who received a visit from his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe today, said the LPE should be more progressive with better focus and more economic-oriented.

RM500 Aidilfitri aid for civil servants

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak yesterday announced a RM500 Aidilfitri special financial assistance for civil servants on Grades 1 to 54.

The Prime Minister also announced a RM250 special financial assistance for the 660,000 government pensioners. He said the payment of the special aid would be made on July 31.

The income is derived from SAS’s Investment in the stock market (86.53%), dividend income (11.98%), and money market (1.49%).
