Sabah receives investments worth RM5.83bil last year

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah received and approved 48 manufacturing projects involving investments worth RM5.83 billion last year.

Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Raymond Tan Shu Kiah said the investments represented a growth of 373 per cent compared with 54 projects valued at RM1.56 billion in 2011.

Najib to chair committee to manage Malaysia’s fiscal sustainability

PUTRAJAYA: The Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak has announced that a fiscal policy committee will be set up to better manage the country’s fiscal sustainability.

Speaking at the Budget 2014 consultation ceremony, here, Najib said the committee will be chaired by himself, along with the Cabinet ministers and head of departments.
