KOTA KINABALU: The Cabotage policy may be reviewed as it has not been successful in reducing the freight shipping charges between Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah.
It has also failed to reduce the cost of doing business in the state, International Trade and Industry Minister, Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed told reporters after the opening of the Sabah Domestic Investment dialogue and seminar at a leading resort here yesterday.

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah has fared well in the first quarter of this year with total approved investments amounted to RM76.7 million.
This involved eight projects that are expected to generate 2,500 jobs, said International Trade and Industry Minister, Dato Sri Mustapa Mohamed in his keynote address at the Sabah Domestic Investment Dialogue and Seminar yesterday.

KOTA KINABALU: The State government is confident the palm oil sector, oil and gas industry as well as biotechnology will generate greater economic development for Sabah.
Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Musa Haji Aman said it also expects the Federal government’s financial allocation for Sabah under the 10th Malaysia Plan (10MP) will spur more economic activities.
